Careful listeners may have noticed a repeat of Uncanny Radio on the air last week. No, it wasn't snow (this time), nor were Linda and I carried off into the Unknown. It was, in fact, what I've come to think of as the "Schneck Curse." Twice we've had things go mysteriously wrong with shows featuring our guest Robert Damon Schneck. First, the engineers managed to "lose" an entire show. Poof! Gone into the ether! Then, last week, they managed to mysteriously not load the correct show into our programming block. Why has this happened? Perhaps it's because in both shows Robert and your humble hosts spoke of the "thing that must not be named" -- a character from Robert's book, The President's Vampire, who (legend says) will hunt you down if you so much as think of him. Perhaps some things were not meant to be heard! Tune in on Robert's newly scheduled air date, March 12, to see if we can overcome this strange new obstacle!
