UncannyRadio is not just honored but thrilled out of our gourd to feature premiere author on all things uncanny, Brad Steiger, as our inaugural guest on February 6. We will be talking about one of his eeriest books, SHADOW WORLD: True Encounters with Beings from the Darkside

Who inhabits the Shadow World? We're not just talking about spirits of the dead. And "friendly" is not a proper

description of their character.

Having conducted research through five decades and across four continents, investigator Brad Steiger concludes that a richly populated Shadow World exists all around us. When it impinges on our ordinary plane of shared reality, this dark dimension is sometimes frightening, occasionally menacing, but always worthy of cautious exploration. Spirits of the dead are but one of the many types of beings that inhabit in the Shadow World. Others appear to be multidimensional beings, some of whom may be benign, while others seem to be cosmic tricksters or troublemakers bent on mischief. And unfortunately some of the beings that seem to have our best interests at heart may in fact have entered our world with the intention of possessing our bodies or capturing our souls.

Brad Steiger is the author of more than 160 books with over fifteen million copies in print. He is a frequent guest on a variety of television and radio programs.

Welcome to Uncanny Radio

Welcome to the Uncanny Radio blog -- the official home of Manwolf and Linda (and the Uncanny World). Uncanny radio can be heard every Wednesday night (starting February 6, 2008) on WBSD -- or tune in via internet for live streaming. Just click on the "Listen Live" button. In the future, Manwolf and Linda will cover all aspects of the strange and uncanny -- from UFOs to the Loch Ness monster to Unicorns to Werewolves (naturally).

Linda recently appeared on the American Werewolf episode of Monster Quest on the History Channel (January 23, 2008). Manwolf, in his guise as Stephen D. Sullivan, is the author of more than 30 books, including Zombies, Werewolves, & Unicorns available for purchase from Amazon.com or directly from Walkabout Publishing.

Look her and on our companion blog Manwolf's Howls & Growls -- featuring Steve's, er . . . Manwolf's well-reasoned opinions on the current crop of supernatural TV shows (and other items of interest).

Stay tuned for future developments!
