Steve "Manwolf" Sullivan at WizardWorld Chicago

I should be at WizardWorld Chicago for the entire convention at the end of next week.  (June 27-29, 2008).

I hope to have an artist alley table, though this hasn't been confirmed yet.  You should be able to find me under my own name, or possibly under Glasshouse Graphics or Phil Longmeir -- who will be in the spaces next to me.  (If everything goes according to plan.)

I will have books -- including preview copies of the brand-new Blue Kingdoms: Buxom Buccaneers -- for sale and a few other items. too.  With luck, I may even be sporting advance copies of the Uncanny Radio T-Shirt and Hat.

I hope to see lots of my friends and fans there!  I look forward to talking to everyone about my books, stories, comics, and -- of course -- Uncanny Radio.

Of Rain and Reruns - June 18 Show

Y'all have probably heard about the bad weather and flooding out here in the past week. The good news is that Linda and I are fine, and the worst for us was some minor water in my cellar -- with nothing damaged.

There was a casualty, though; because of the weather/floods, Linda and I couldn't get into the studio in time to do our second interview with Marie. So, we're postponing that show one week. This week, we'll be airing the Chad Lewis interview, which -- although it made the podcast on time -- never actually aired on WBSD. (Radio station screw up. They happen sometimes.)

So, if you're streaming or listening live, you can enjoy that show for the first time on June 18. And, of course, it's still available as a podcast, too. Why not check it out if you haven't already.

Thanks for all your support and continuing good wishes.

CHAD LEWIS - June 4, 2008 Guest

Chad Lewis is an author and paranormal investigator based in Minneapolis, MN, who together with Terry Fisk hosts the Web site The pair also host the hugely successful Unexplained Conferences at sites around the Midwest. Lewis, who holds a Master's Degree in psychology and has traveled to Belize, Guatemala, Loch Ness, London, Romania and other places in search of vampires, chupacabras and other unknown entities, has now taken on a new kind of search. Spending hours poring over the archives of old newspapers, Lewis has found a treasure trove of the bizarre and gathered them into a series he calls "Hidden Headlines." Published so far are actual tales of wildmen, unusual characters, and unexplained phenomena from Wisconsin, Texas, New York and California. UncannyRadio will plumb the depths of Lewis' knowledge as we examine the what, how and why of Hidden Headlines.

017 Chad Lewis Podcast

What is it?

This mysterious photo was sent in by a reader. She saw the thing in an antiques store, but what is it? Linda and Steve discuss some possibilities in the Beastwatch segment of the show that airs on June 4, 2008. You can find that show with our guest Chad Lewis (017) in our podcasts.

You can get my latest creator-owned book, Zombies, Werewolves, & Unicorns at here.  Or from Amazon's CreateSpace outlet (which gives me a better royalty) here.

My collection of short stories Martian Knights & Other Tales includes a great Blue Kingdoms story and can be found at Amazon here or CreateSpace here.

You can also find some of my other work on the Walkabout Publishing site (along with great books from other authors).

Don't forget to review the books on Amazon once you've bought them!  And be sure to listen to Uncanny Radio live on WBSD on Wednesday nights from 8-9 (central time), or find our podcasts on our Uncanny World blog.  More books are coming from both of us soon.  Keep your eyes peeled!
